- A team will consist of 11 players, with 9 allowed to field and 10 to bat . From the squad of 11 players, any combination of players will be allowed to field and bat.
- Matches will be played with a soft tennis ball. (Headley brand balls used for Men and Captain/Tennex brand for Women)
- Round Robin matches will be 6 overs per innings. Round of 16 & Quarter-final matches will be 7 overs per inning and Semi-final and Final matches will be 9 overs per inning.
- If the match is tied during the Round Robin stage, both teams will be awarded 1 point each, whereas, during the knock-out stages, the winner will be decided via a Super Over.
- Umpire’s decision will be binding and final. No argument will be entertained with the umpire.
- After a player is out of the tournament he/she won't be able to join or play for other team at any league.
- During Round Robin and Quarter Final matches, a cap of 30 runs per player for men and 24 runs per player for women will apply. Once the batsperson reaches or crosses the cap, they will have to retire their innings.
- Once a batsperson retires, they will not be allowed to bat again even if the team loses all its wickets. This will apply to all matches.
- All balls should be bowled underarm. Standard underarm bowling rules will apply.
- The third ball of every over will be a Power Ball, for which runs scored will be doubled. A wicket on that ball will lead to a 5 runs deduction for the batting team. Any runs addition or deduction of runs will be from the total score of the team.
- Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over per inning.
- Underarm bowling is compulsory. Sidearm bowling is not allowed.
- No-Balls: Any ball bowled with the no part of the bowler’s front leg behind the popping crease will be declared a no-ball. Any ball that is deemed to be hitting the batsperson on the full above the waistline at the batting crease will also be declared as a no-ball. Additionally, if the bowler fails to inform the umpire before the start of the over, of the bowling side he will be bowling from, the subsequent ball will be declared a no-ball.
- A centre line will be drawn in between the bowling crease and batting crease. The bowler needs to bowl the first bounce of the ball after the line drawn. In case the ball pitches before the line drawn, then the ball will be called as a no-ball and all the standard No Ball rules shall be applicable.
- Fast Ball: A batsperson can call Fast Ball on a delivery he deems faster than normal, which if concurred to by the umpire will be called a Fast Ball. If the batsperson attempts to play that ball and also calls it a Fast Ball, in such instances, their Fast Ball claim will not be acceded to. Final decision will rest with the umpire. If a ball is deemed a Fast Ball, standard no-ball rules will apply.
- Wides: Balls bowled outside the wide line on the off side of the batsperson will be declared a wide. All balls bowled on the leg-side of the batsperson which doesn’t touch the batsperson, or the wickets will be declared a wide ball too. Balls bouncing over the batsperson’s shoulder line at the batting crease will be declared a wide ball.
- Bowled Out: If the ball hits the wickets and dislodges the bails or if the batspersons bat or body dislodges the bails while batting.
- Caught Out: Ball is caught on the full by the fielding team.
- Stumped Out: Batsperson on-strike can be stumped out by wicket-keeper. Stumping on no-ball will not be considered out. Additionally, if the wicketkeeper collects the ball before it passes the stumps for the stumping, then stumping will be not valid.
- Run-Out: Either batsman can be run out by the fielding team.
- If the Ball hits the top net and any of the fielder catches the ball directly then the batsmen will be considered as out.
- There can be a maximum of only 9 Players on the field.
- Fielding Positions: 1 wicket-keeper, 1 bowler, 5 fielders between the boundary line and bowler with a maximum of 2 players fielding on the boundary line and 3 between the boundary line and the bowler. There should always be 2 fielders between the batting and bowling creases.
